SolutionsGetting in

Eight touches. Five people. Nothing.

The sequence ran to completion. Nobody bounced, nobody unsubscribed, nobody replied. The account is not saying no, it is saying nothing, which is worse, because there is no information in it and the honest next step is not another email.

01What is really happening

Silence has three causes and the cadence fixes none of them.

A non-reply means the person was wrong, the reason was wrong, or the moment was wrong. Those need three different fixes, and sending a ninth touch addresses none of them. Yet the default response to silence is almost always more volume, because volume is the only lever a sequencer exposes.

  • Delivered is not read, and read is not relevant.
  • A ninth touch spends the last of a relationship you never had.
  • The rep learns nothing, so the next account gets the same sequence.

02What Adrata reads

Which of the three actually broke.

Adrata checks whether those people were the right ones to begin with, whether anyone else at the account has engaged anything, and whether the reason you led with was ever a live issue for them. Message decisions are treated as arms with priors, so what earns replies from this kind of buyer is measured rather than assumed.

  • Whether the people were ever plausible, before blaming the copy.
  • Any engagement anywhere at the account, not just in your thread.
  • What has actually earned replies from buyers of this shape.

03The move

Change the route or the reason. Not the cadence.

Usually the recommendation is a different door: a warm path you had not used, a person one level sideways, or a wait until a real change gives you something worth saying. Where nothing has changed and no route exists, the correct move is to stop, and Adrata will say so rather than manufacture a ninth touch.

  • A different person, with the route that reaches them.
  • A reason drawn from something that actually happened.
  • Permission to stop, when stopping is the right call.

The model behind it

You should be able to argue with the recommendation.

A move you cannot interrogate is a move you will ignore the first time it is wrong. These are the models doing the work in this scenario.

Thompson Sampling on what to send

Which version of this actually earns replies, for this kind of buyer?

Message decisions (template, tone, call to action, send time, subject style, opening hook) are treated as arms with Beta priors and sampled rather than fixed. Where a workspace has thin data for a specific context, the estimate falls back through archetype and industry to a global prior instead of pretending to know.

Break-in probability

Of every possible way into this account, which one actually opens?

Each candidate route is scored on seven components: relationship strength, how relevant the connector is to the target, freshness, consent safety, social cost, evidence quality, and expected lift. A calibrated model converts them into the probability that the route breaks in, with each component’s contribution visible.

The right to say nothing

Is there enough evidence here to justify a recommendation at all?

Learned components stay inert until they beat the simple heuristic on held-out data, and every model has a floor below which it abstains rather than guessing. On a new workspace the honest answer is often "not yet", and the system is built to say so instead of manufacturing confidence.
